Plants and nature have always been an important love in my life – a passion that just naturally translates into wanting to share that with others. Plants bring peace, joy, and just as the mythical flowering fern is said to bring luck to those who find it, hopefully our plants and garden products can bring a little joy and luck to others as well. Plants have simply always been a part of the fabric of life – filling our bellies with delicious food and beautifying our homes. Here at the Flowering Fern, a small family-run business, we hope to be able to give people the chance to enjoy their own fresh food with seasonal vegetable, flower, and herb seedlings, and lovely and easy to care for greenery and items for indoors throughout the rest of the year as well.

June 21, 28, and July 5th from 10-1 at Kamm's Corner's Market at 16906 Albers Ave, Cleveland

Note that reservations are mostly for our tomato, pepper, and eggplants as there are only about a dozen of each variety grown each year to preserve quality and reduce waste , but that we have many other plants available for browsing that are not listed here such as common and unique herbs, unique veggies, cucumbers and squash ( Those two will be available at the May 31st show and beyond as they need warmer weather), everbearing strawberry plants, huckleberries, ground cherries, tomatillos, Gogi Berries (black and scarlet), and flowers both annual and perennial.
Tomato, eggplant, and pepper plants are either $3.00 each or for every 4 plants of these sort (mix'n match): $10.00
As a small home-nursery, we only have limited numbers of each variety, so be sure to reserve yours before they are sold out! Reservations are from Now until June 14th (after that it is first come, first serve) To reserve your plants, please follow these directions:
Step 1: Look over the special varieties of heirloom plants we have available (See list and pictures at this link here)
Step 2: Send an email to TheFloweringFerns@gmail.com and include the following information..
Your Full Name
Your phone number (Only for time sensitive plant issues with your order -- we will never call you with advertisements or sell your information)
The name of which plants (and how many)* you would like reserved for you
The pickup date and location for your plants from the list of dates and locations below
After you email us, we will email you back with a confirmation -- remember that there are limited numbers of each variety, so at this stage keep an eye out for a reply from us to make sure we have the ones you would like -- we may email you to suggest comparable substitutions should we already be ‘sold’ out of some of the varieties and may need a response from you
For this year, reservations are a small down payment of $5.00 which gets rolled into your purchase towards your plants (this is to tell us you are serious and will be picking up your plants! As a small business it is just a precaution we must take), and then you will pay your remaining balance upon pickup via cash (preferred), Venmo, or chip card (for tap on a square).
Step 3: After you receive a confirmation from us, you will be prompted to pay your downpayment fee of $5.00** for your order to Venmo, or mailed paper check postmarked 3 days after you get the confirmation from us (for check, reservations are only complete once the check clears)***
Step 4: come to your chosen pickup date to get your little plant cuties for your lovely garden!

After this it is just first come, first serve. Also, you don't have to reserve plants, you are welcome to come to any of our dates and browse for what you like!
